On Fridays, our older children each write a letter to someone. Occasionally, Iron Man and I get to be the honored recipients of a letter. Today was such a day for me.
As I was organizing some baby toys, Happy came and asked me, “What’s the next holiday coming up, Mom?” Being afflicted with pregnancy brain, Mother’s Day had completely escaped my memory, so I told him to check the calendar. About ten minutes later, he returned with a letter to me. Here it is:
FYI, I have no history in the medical profession, unless applying an occasional band-aid and administering Children’s Motrin qualify me as a nurse. But I’m honored just the same. ;-)

I love that child ! He has such a kind heart !
Thanks, Gram! He is a sweetheart. :)
I love it! Happy Nurses Day from me, too!
And, Happy Nurse’s Day to you, too! :)
Oh! I like the curly “Y” as well. My daughter does that, too!
Hee hee. So cute. Do you refer to breastfeeding as nursing maybe?
Kim, I hadn’t thought of that! We do call it nursing, so after your comment, we asked him what a nurse was. He said it was the lady who gives you shots when you go to the doctor. So I guess Nurse’s Day is something we should just all be celebrating! ;-)
And I thought I had it all figured out, lol.
